PROJECT NAME: Aggressive HIV/AIDS Prevention program

Phase- One: Presentation and viewing of an HIV and AIDS educational film

  • During this phase a brief synopsis of the film will be presented to the audience for 5-10 minutes
  • 20-minutes film viewing.

Phase Two: Group Discussion

Audience participation: e.g. about what they have learned from the film and how they can apply this information in their every-day’s lives.

Rules and contents of the game

Phase Four: Interactive Participation

Practical playing of the HIV/AIDS Edu board games

Group discussion and reports about the impact the board game and film can bring in one’s life and how can the program be used as a global HIV/AIDS prevention teaching aid

This game is specially invented to inform youth about HIV/AIDS pandemic, it also creates a platform of communication among youth and an open environment for sex talks with parents

Board games bring people/families together, they are fun and challenging they will definitely make players to think

  • They develop humour and also encourage players to play by the set rules
  • They encourage family participation which indirectly convert homes/households into learning centres
